Our Reviews
We gave the AMD Radeon RX 9070 an 8/10 rating. Priced similarly to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070, it delivers superior performance in most tested games and boasts more VRAM (16GB vs 12GB) for future-proofing. Power consumption is comparable to the RTX 5070.
AMD Radeon RX 9070 Review by Jacqueline Thomas
"The AMD Radeon RX 9070 is an excellent 1440p graphics card that makes the competition all but irrelevant. It delivers excellent 1440p performance, often reaching high-refresh rates even without frame generation, and includes an AI upscaler for enhanced image quality. Its only drawback is its proximity in performance to the Radeon RX 9070 XT."
The AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT received a perfect 10/10 from us. Despite costing $150 less than the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, it outperforms it in many games, with some benchmarks showing significant advantages. It also features 16GB of VRAM. However, it does consume more power and run hotter than the RTX 5070 Ti.
AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT Review by Jacqueline Thomas
"PC gaming has been in a slump since 2020, and the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT is a breath of fresh air. This graphics card effortlessly maxes out any game at 4K, even with ray tracing enabled, all at a price that makes the competition seem overpriced. Only time will tell if the launch price holds, but one thing is certain: we need more graphics cards like the AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT."
