BioWare has seemingly abandoned plans for downloadable content (DLC) for Dragon Age: The Veilguard. However, creative director John Epler hinted at the possibility of a Dragon Age remastered collection.
BioWare Officially Rules Out Dragon Age: The Veilguard DLC
Dragon Age Remastered Collection Remains a Possibility
According to Rolling Stone, BioWare has confirmed it won't be developing any DLC for Dragon Age: The Veilguard, stating the game is "complete." With the Veilguard launch behind them, BioWare's focus has shifted to the next Mass Effect title.
While details regarding potential Veilguard DLC remain scarce, Epler addressed the prospect of a remastered Dragon Age collection, similar to the Mass Effect Legendary Edition. He expressed enthusiasm for the idea but acknowledged the significant challenges involved, primarily due to the use of EA's proprietary game engines in the original Dragon Age trilogy. Epler stated, "It’s not as straightforward as Mass Effect was, but we cherish the original games. Never say never, I suppose."
