Bendy: Lone Wolf is another take on the Ink Machine franchise coming to mobile in 2025

Author : Finn Jan 05,2025

Bendy and the Ink Machine is back, and this time it's coming to mobile! Bendy: Lone Wolf, a new mobile title arriving on iOS, Android, Switch, and Steam in 2025, takes the isometric survival horror formula established by Boris and the Dark Survival and expands upon it.

Remember the quirky survival horror that captivated audiences in the mid-2010s? The episodic structure, unique rubber hose-style enemies and environments, and compelling narrative made Bendy and the Ink Machine a massive hit. Now, the franchise returns with a new adventure.

The reveal trailer (linked below) showcases top-down gameplay, seemingly putting players in the shoes of Boris the Wolf as he navigates the treacherous Joey Drew Studios.

The original Bendy and the Ink Machine, along with spin-offs Nightmare Run and Boris and the Dark Survival, are already available on mobile. Lone Wolf draws heavily from Dark Survival, though its exact relationship—whether it's a definitive version or a fresh take—remains unclear.

Regardless, the Bendy franchise maintains significant popularity, often cited alongside Five Nights at Freddy's as a pioneer of the mascot horror genre.

Lone Wolf's success will hinge on its execution. While not the first isometric survival horror game featuring Boris, its multi-platform release (including Steam and Switch) suggests significant improvements over its mobile predecessor. Expect a more polished and potentially terrifying experience.
