Once upon a time, DC's Batman enjoyed a seemingly endless stream of new video games. The Dark Knight reigned supreme, and Rocksteady's acclaimed Arkham series arguably revolutionized superhero gaming, a legacy felt even today.
However, recent years have seen Batman take a less prominent role in the video game landscape. A proper standalone Batman game hasn't graced our screens since 2017's The Enemy Within, and there's currently no word on when that might change. While comic book fans have a wealth of upcoming superhero titles to anticipate, those eager to don the cowl of Bruce Wayne must look to the past to discover the best Batman games.
