A Secret Romance in Baldur's Gate 3: Finding and Romancing Naoise Nallinto

While Baldur's Gate 3 boasts many well-known romance options, a hidden encounter with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress often goes unnoticed. This guide details how to find and romance this intriguing character.

Locating Naoise Nallinto

Act III and Sharess' Caress: Your journey begins in Act III, specifically at Sharess' Caress brothel in Wyrm's Crossing. This location is easily accessible via the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast travel point.

The Nymph's Grotto: Naoise resides in a secluded chamber called the Nymph's Grotto, located on the second floor. Look for a door with a green light and ivy – it's locked, but easily pickable (requires a lockpicking roll of 10 or higher).

Pursuing a Romance with Naoise

An Unexpected Encounter: Inside, you'll find Naoise with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier. Interfering will trigger a confrontation. Choosing dialogue options like, "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken," will lead to a battle with a mind flayer-transformed Jara.

After the Battle: Defeating Jara opens the door to romance. Responding with lines such as, "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset," and later, "That creature aroused you, didn't it?" (avoiding judgmental responses), will steer the conversation towards intimacy.

A Unique Romance: The ensuing romance is unique, taking place entirely within your mind. Naoise asks you to choose "what you will be," offering options like Revered, Contented, Powerful, or Rich. Selecting "Contented" (for example) leads to a brief romantic scene.

The Aftermath: This encounter is a one-time event. Returning later will only yield a refusal of further intimacy. Interestingly, this romance doesn't seem to affect existing relationships with other characters. Shadowheart will even reward you with the "Carnal Rituals of Sharess" inspiration point. Successfully romancing Naoise grants the "Rapture" boon, providing a passive 1d6 bonus to most ability checks.

This unique and fleeting romance adds another layer to Baldur's Gate 3's rich tapestry of relationships. Don't miss this intriguing encounter!
