Get ready, racing fans! Assetto Corsa EVO, from Kunos Simulazioni Studios, hits Steam Early Access on January 16, 2025.
Initial release includes 20 meticulously detailed cars and 5 iconic tracks: Imola, Brands Hatch, Bathurst, Laguna Seca, and Suzuka. Even in Early Access, expect stunning physics, precise handling, and incredibly realistic car behavior.
A standout feature is the free-roam mode. A major summer 2025 update promises a massive, up to 1600 square kilometer, fully laser-scanned open world around the legendary Nürburgring, expanding gradually.
Assetto Corsa EVO aims to challenge industry titans like Gran Turismo and Forza Motorsport, boasting photorealistic visuals and cutting-edge physics.
The full game, at launch, is slated to feature 100 vehicles and 15 tracks, with more to come via free post-launch updates. Every circuit will mirror real-world conditions, complete with realistic tire wear, wet surfaces, and animated spectators.
Enhanced car dynamics, suspension, and shock absorption are key improvements. Early Access will feature Driving Academy mode, challenging players to complete tracks within time limits to earn a license unlocking top-tier vehicles. This will be one of the primary single-player experiences available at launch.
