Remedy Entertainment is celebrating Alan Wake 2's near-anniversary with a substantial, free Anniversary Update. In a blog post, the developers expressed gratitude to the fanbase for their support.
This free update, launching alongside The Lake House expansion, introduces significant accessibility features. Players can now enjoy options like infinite ammo and one-hit kills. PS5 players will also experience enhanced DualSense functionality, with haptic feedback integrated into healing item and throwable usage. Horizontal axis inversion is also added.
Responding to player feedback, the update includes numerous quality-of-life improvements. Remedy explains that development hasn't stopped since the initial release, with work continuing on expansions and incorporating player suggestions. These improvements are bundled into the Anniversary Update, aptly timed for the game's anniversary.
