AFK Journey is a free-to-play RPG with regular seasonal content updates. New seasons introduce fresh maps, storylines, and heroes. Here's the release date for the upcoming AFK Journey season, "Chains of Eternity."

What's New in Chains of Eternity?

Chains of Eternity Season Release Date

The global version of AFK Journey will launch the Chains of Eternity season on January 17th.

Other regions and servers will receive the update once their server reaches 35 days old, provided players meet these requirements:

Reach Resonance level 240.
Complete all pre-season AFK stages.

Meeting these conditions and having a server older than 35 days ensures access to the new season on the official release date.

What's New in Chains of Eternity?

Chains of Eternity brings a new map, story content, heroes, and bosses to AFK Journey, including:

Lorsan (Wilder)
Elijah and Lailah (Celestial)
Illucia (Dream Realm boss)

Significant seasonal changes include a daily AFK progress cap, Paragon level adjustments, and Exclusive Equipment enhancements. Paragon levels will have a greater impact, and upgrading Exclusive Equipment from +15 to +20 will provide a substantial boost. This means investing in existing Supreme+ units will yield higher returns, although the investment cost increases significantly beyond +15.
