"5 Poacher Spots in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2's Bird of Prey"

Author : Hannah Apr 04,2025

In the *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* quest known as Bird of Prey, your mission is to track down five groups of poachers scattered throughout the wilderness. This task can be challenging as the game does not provide precise locations for these elusive criminals.

Where to Find Poachers in Bird of Prey in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

Poacher #1

The first poacher is relatively easy to locate. After initiating the Bird of Prey quest by speaking with the gamekeeper, make your way to the north side of the pond. From there, venture into the forest and navigate through the tall shrubs. You'll soon stumble upon a camp where the first poacher is hiding.

Remember, while you have the option to eliminate these poachers, doing so will impact your reputation negatively. It's advisable to seek a peaceful resolution. This particular poacher is timid and can be persuaded to surrender. You can choose to release him or turn him over to the bailiff. If you opt for mercy, don't forget to collect a piece of poacher equipment as evidence.

Tracking down the second poacher is arguably the most challenging part of the Bird of Prey quest. You can gather clues by conversing with various NPCs marked by the quest to narrow down the search area. Alternatively, you can head directly to the designated location. This poacher is more defiant and will only comply if you possess high persuasion skills. In my experience, I had to resort to lethal force and subsequently collected his equipment as proof.

The third poacher can be found in Slatego Forest. For additional information, speak with Gravedigger Ignatius near Apollonia before setting out. Be prepared to encounter wolves in this area.

You'll need to visit two locations. The first is the camp where the poacher was hiding, but you'll find it deserted. Search the camp for any useful items. Then, proceed west to the second location, where you'll find wolves feasting on a man's corpse. After dealing with the wolves, you'll discover that this was the missing poacher. Don't forget to take a piece of poacher equipment as evidence.

This encounter can be quite perilous. You'll need to venture deep into the woods to confront three poachers. However, direct confrontation isn't necessary. Your objective is to gather evidence by examining three specific items:

  • Deer's corpse
  • Deer's skin
  • Hanging deer's carcass

Once you've inspected these items, return to the gamekeeper to report your findings. He will then arrange for officials to apprehend the criminals.

The final poacher you need to locate is surprisingly Hans. Finding him can be tricky due to the expansive search area. You can find him near the rocks on the western side of the designated zone. Since Henry cannot bring himself to arrest his old friend, you'll need to take Hans' poaching kit as evidence.

That's all the information you need to successfully find all the poachers and complete the Bird of Prey quest in *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2*. Remember, it's best to avoid killing the poachers to maintain your reputation.

*Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is available now on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.*
