Among Us 3D: A First-Person Perspective on Deception
Innersloth, the creators of the wildly popular Among Us, are launching a new dimension of gameplay with Among Us 3D. Building on the success of their VR adaptation, this latest iteration brings the classic social deduction experience into a fully immersive first-person perspective, playable on PC without the need for a VR headset.
The core gameplay remains intact, but reimagined for traditional gaming setups. A recently released teaser trailer hints at the enhanced visual experience of completing tasks, attending emergency meetings, and executing sabotage, all from the unique viewpoint of your chosen character. Gamers can get a sneak peek during Steam's upcoming "Game On" festival, where a free demo will be available.
While a precise release date is yet to be revealed, Among Us 3D will initially launch on PC, optimized for keyboard and mouse controls. A redesigned interface promises improved accessibility. Excitingly, cross-play functionality will allow players of Among Us 3D to connect with those playing Among Us VR, though the original Among Us will maintain its separate identity.
Innersloth plans to introduce a new in-game currency, Stardust, in the coming months. This will unlock additional customization options, allowing players greater control over their avatars and fostering continued engagement with the game.
