HOW TO PLAY
Ludo is a classic dice and race game where each player manages four pieces per house using a set of dice. The current version supports two players, each controlling two houses and a total of eight pieces. The objective is straightforward: move all eight pieces to their home before your opponent does.
MOVEMENT OF PIECE
The player with the red house starts the game, and in the event of a win, the loser takes the red house in the next game. A piece can only exit the house with a die roll of 6, but once on the track, it can move with any die outcome. Pieces follow a track of 56 steps from home to the center of the board. A piece can be removed either by completing the 56-step journey or by capturing an opponent's piece.
PIECE CAPTURE
Capturing is a key strategy in Ludo. A player's piece can capture an opponent's piece if it lands on a block occupied by the opponent. The captured piece must return to its home, while the capturing piece is removed from the board. The secret to winning lies in capturing as many of your opponent's pieces as possible while avoiding being captured yourself. Note that a piece cannot capture if the remaining die outcome cannot be used.
IMPORTANT NOTE
- A player can roll the dice consecutively only if each roll results in a 6 (e.g., first roll = 6, second roll = 6).
- You must play the outcome of a die roll before rolling again, regardless of the result.
- For a smoother and faster gameplay experience, enable DIRECT COUNT in the settings.
Naija Ludo offers a rich, customizable gaming experience that caters to both casual and competitive players, making it a must-try for Ludo enthusiasts.
